Total Polish Kitchen is a cookbook for authentic Polish home cooking — recipes, a weekly meal planner, a recipe roulette, and a built-in shopping list. This Privacy Policy explains, in plain language, what happens with your information when you use the App and its companion website at cuisine2273.com. Throughout this document, "we," "us," and "our" refer to Total Polish Kitchen developed by KOZAKDALTRANS TOV.
We want you to be in charge of your information. Here is what you can do at any time, without contacting us:
We deliberately keep data collection narrow. Most of what makes the App work — the recipes, your favourites, your meal plan — never leaves your device. The list below covers everything the App actively collects.
The first time you open the App, it generates a random anonymous identifier and stores it on your device. This identifier is not tied to your name, email, phone number, Google account, or any other personal detail — it simply lets us count installs and group anonymous events from the same installation. The App also reads your device's language and region setting so that menus and content can be displayed appropriately.
So we can understand which marketing efforts actually bring people to the kitchen, the App collects:
This information is collected and processed using AppsFlyer, a mobile attribution provider. AppsFlyer also collects standard technical data (such as IP address, device model, and operating system version) as part of its service. Your anonymous identifier is shared with AppsFlyer alongside the data above. You can read AppsFlyer's full privacy practices at https://www.appsflyer.com/legal/privacy-policy/. You can reset your Google Advertising ID or opt out of personalized advertising at any time from Android Settings → Google → Ads.
The App includes a built-in browser that displays this Privacy Policy and the Support page directly inside the App. The built-in browser does not collect anything beyond what is described above, but, like any browser, it supports cookies (including third-party cookies), local storage, and similar standard browser features for the websites it loads. Those websites operate under their own privacy practices. You can clear any cookies or local storage they create by clearing the App's data in your device settings.
If you reach out to us through the Support page, you choose what to send. The contact form asks for:
None of this is sent until you choose to submit the form, and we only use it to reply to you and resolve the issue you reported. The App itself never opens your camera or reaches into your gallery on its own — taking photos and picking files is handled entirely by your device's built-in camera and file picker apps, which manage their own permissions independently.
Everything you create inside the App — your favourite recipes, your weekly meal plan, your shopping list, your unit preference (metric or imperial), and your daily reminder time — is saved only on your device. We do not have a server-side copy and we cannot see what you have planned for dinner. If you uninstall the App or clear its data, all of this is removed.
If you turn on the daily reminder in the Settings screen, the App schedules a local notification on your device at the time you choose. The reminder is generated and delivered entirely on your device — no notification servers are involved, and no notification token or message content leaves your phone. Android requires your permission to show notifications (Android 13 and above); you can grant or revoke this permission at any time in your device's system settings.
We use the limited data described above to:
We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it to build advertising profiles about you.
We share data only with the small number of service providers we genuinely need to run the App, plus with authorities when the law requires it:
We do not share your saved recipes, meal plans, favourites, shopping list, or support messages with anyone outside our team.
Connections between the App and our service providers use industry-standard HTTPS encryption. Some network connections may use unencrypted HTTP for compatibility with certain endpoints; in those cases, we do not transmit personal information that could identify you.
Retention works as follows:
The App is intended for general audiences who enjoy cooking. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information to us — for example, by sending a message through the Support page — please contact us and we will delete it promptly.
If we make changes to this Privacy Policy, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page and post the new version here. For significant changes, we will also surface a notice inside the App. We encourage you to check back from time to time so you always know what we collect and why.
Questions, concerns, or requests about your data? We're happy to hear from you. You can write to us at [email protected] or use the Support page inside the App.
